The Era of the organized mass protest is over. The Minuteman moment is rising.

Times have changed, and if we want to survive, protesting has got to change as well.

We endorse Patrod's approach. We also appropriate the term guerrilla to describe what we need to do. -

As the regime of the 1st FOTUS deepens its roots, we the people simply must accept that the age of peaceful mass protests is dead. The reality is grim: the worst of the MAGAban has been unleashed from their federal shackles, so NOW, as they rearm and before they become bolder and more violent, we must recognize that peaceful public demonstrations are no longer safe, will no longer be protected, and are no longer effective. None of us need to be gathering in large numbers, unarmed, and vulnerable, because with the MAGAban loose, that has become a recipe for disaster. The riot police will come armed to the teeth not as a threat, but as a promise, and they will have the well armed Rittenhouse militia throughout the crowd, ready to defend themselves and own the libz once and for all, and with full bodied police support.

Let’s face it: protests haven’t been effective in decades. Millions have marched for justice, for climate change, for equality, even occupying Wall Street; what did it accomplish? The powerful ignored it, the media diluted it, and the only guaranteed outcome was violence against the innocent. Meanwhile, the political oligarchs painted every protest as violent riots, while the supposed “leaders” of our political allies sat back and scolded those “mostly peaceful” protesters, then staying silent about the issues wherever and whenever it mattered most. Always a last minute foil. Always an excuse. Never any effort to quench the thirst of their masses for ANY consequences for the failures of those in leadership roles, but a deep, insatiable hunger for the power of the status quo. Fat off the hog, our Democratic leaders have left us, victims of a domestic pig butchering scheme that proved there is no foundation for the base. It’s time to admit the truth: the old ways of resistance are unsupported, outdated, and dangerous. We need to evolve. We need to organize smarter, faster, with self-defense and anonymity in mind.

A New Model of Resistance

This is the moment for a modern reprisal of the Minuteman, our new way forward. This decentralized approach isn’t about mass rallies or publicized marches; it’s about adaptability, small groups flashing in to tight knit mobs, then dissolving into anonymity, chaos, and confusion whenever confronted. Each Minuteman should operate like a cell on their own: self-reliant, connected to a small, personal buddy network, and ready to act at a moment’s notice. A Minuteman is NOT a lone wolf, in fact they are the polar opposite. Anyone and everyone can and should be a Minuteman, and they will be your brothers and sisters, your friends and neighbors, your protection while you are away as you protect whatever you see wherever you are. A Minuteman could be your bus driver, your uber driver, your mail person, the person walking their dog. A Minuteman is anyone who is resisting when they see something. Maybe you see something happening to someone who you know voted for Numero Uno, but didn’t think the MAGAban would come for them. The only thing that will matter in that moment is where will YOU be? Everyone can do something. Anyone can do something. This is a class war, and victims are everywhere. Many don’t even know they’re victims yet. Be smart, pick your battles, and remember the lines are being redrawn every day. It’s early times, and we have the advantage of spreading this message, but moving forward, having and using a trusted buddy system for protection and an alibi will be invaluable.

Here’s one way it could work:

1. Buddy up: Every Minuteman should have at least two trusted buddies, an active and alibi. When you see something, use code to contact your buddy, who can use whatever code to contact their buddy, and so on. This creates a rapid response network that can mobilize quickly.

2. Answer the call and Buddy up on arrival: Be willing and able to drop anything if called on, or spread the word locally to anyone around you to rally and send support if you can’t break your current engagement. If you can’t do anything, be an alibi. If upon arrival you see someone scared or uncomfortable, step in. Be a distraction, a shield, a visible presence. Many people hesitate to act, simply out of fear of being alone, your courage will ignite theirs. Identify those who are looking around for someone to do something. Make sure they see you.

3. Document EVERYTHING: One of the most powerful tools of resistance is documentation. Think of Darnella Frazier, who filmed George Floyd’s murder. Her video shattered the police’s narrative and sparked a global movement. All it took was a steady hand, typing fingers, and the Minuteman mindset of Darnella Frazier seeing something and doing what she could. Every phone is a weapon against their propaganda.

4. Stay anonymous: This isn’t a club. There are no memberships, no dues, no rosters. Minutemen don’t ever know each other - but they know how to act like a team. They cover for each other. Create alibis for one another. They make up and use their own codes. Always ready to disappear when necessary, show up when called on, to rally and send support, and ready to defend and deny with an alibi.

The Death of Mass Protests

Large, centralized protests are not just ineffective; they’re suicidal under a fascist regime. Imagine BLM holding a “mostly peaceful” rally, planned and publicized, with thousands of like minded people set to gather up in one place, in cities across America. Now imagine our Department of Justice, led by MAGAban loyalists, shifting the narrative of those “mostly peaceful” rallies to a left wing uprising that turned into a regrettably necessary bloodbath. This isn’t paranoia or hyperbole; it’s the reality of resisting a regime that is preparing to utilize fear and violence to shock and awe the public in to submission and silence. None of us should offer our lives up like that. That was for Democracy. We are at war.

The decentralization of this movement is its strength. Without leaders or lists, there’s nothing for this regime to target. Anyone can join; anyone can walk away. Denial is built into the structure. The only things that matter? When the moment comes, we act, and when the “law” comes, we deny with an alibi.

We can all be a Minuteman.

You may think you’re not brave enough, smart enough, or strong enough. Don’t think I don’t think that way too. We are all worried and afraid, and few of us are truly aware of what it even means to be ready for what lies ahead, but ready or not, the choice has already been made for us. The leaders we allowed to rise are content simply collecting your wages and offering up strongly worded letters and lines drawn in their private backyard sandboxes in return, leaving us all out here, alone and with each other, just as it was in the beginning.

This is the moment you have been reading about.

This is the moment you have been fearing.

But this is also the moment you have been waiting for.

Yes, YOU.

Every day is this moment.

Be ready to do something whenever you see something.

Join anyone already doing something.

Because there’s no one left to save us.

No one but US
