The Facts Have Never Been Clearer: The Violent Right Tried, But Failed to Instigate #NOKINGS

Cop impersonators, provocateurs, and instigators alike on the right do what they always do, but the peaceful protests stayed on point, because the Left is NOT VIOLENT.

This weekend proved one thing to every American still paying attention: the anti-trump movement is growing, focused, and peaceful, while the violent Republican MAGAban terrorists keep trying to start a war and failing. Every attempt at violence or provocation came from the right. Again.

Let’s start with the most shocking fact: a targeted assassination and attempted assassination by a right-wing terrorist wasn’t even the only planned act of violence that day. In Salt Lake City, 24-year-old Arturo Gamboa was shot and wounded as he advanced toward a crowd with an AR-15, and other violent right wing terrorists brought guns and intimidation to start something, anything, but failed.

It’s all part of a larger, escalating pattern of far-right terrorism:

• Jonothan Joss, shot dead while protecting his husband in front of their burned-out home.

• The Pelosi residence invaded, Paul Pelosi brutally assaulted with a hammer.

• Pizzagate, when a conspiracy-addled man fired shots in a D.C. pizza shop over a nonexistent basement.

• The attempted assassination of Democratic Senator Gabby Giffords.

• The FBI-foiled plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer.

• JD Adkisson shooting up a church “because he hated liberals.”

• Timothy McVeigh bombing a federal building to start a race war.

• Left-wing radio host Alan Berg, gunned down by white nationalists.

• Fred Hampton, drugged and assassinated in his sleep by Chicago Police.

• Martin Luther King Jr. murdered on a Memphis balcony.

• Bobby Kennedy shot in a hotel kitchen.

• President John F. Kennedy assassinated in broad daylight.

And that’s not even the full list. There are more. I’ve likely forgotten several. And that in itself proves the point: the right has been violently coming for the left for decades, all while projecting every single bit of it back onto us.

So the question is no longer: “Are those on the right violent?”

The question is: How long are we going to keep letting them be?!?!

How long are we going to play by rules they burn?

How many goals are we going to score, only to find the posts have been moved back?

How long do we have to disavow “violent protests” while we’re being slaughtered, beaten, disenfranchised, and then told we’re the dangerous ones?

The answer, if we’re being honest, is too damn long, with no end in sight.

Right-wing violence is always excused, explained away as “lone wolves” or “misunderstandings”, or worse, as justified responses to imaginary left-wing threats. Meanwhile, the left is too afraid to call any of this what it really is: domestic terrorism with political goals.

And the left’s leaders? They keep bringing spoons to gunfights.

Just look at how Republicans openly suppress votes:

• Purging voter rolls, always targeting Democrats.

• Closing polling places in blue districts.

• Challenging ballots only in Democratic precincts.

• Gerrymandering, restricting drop boxes, making it harder to vote by mail.

They’ve been doing it since Bush v. Gore in 2000. The Supreme Court handed them a stolen presidency.

Here’s the kicker: these are legal, proven strategies. The left could use them. But when I asked four different Democratic reps, including my own, if they’d consider doing the same, they all gave me the same sanctimonious shrug:

“We’re Democrats. We don’t do that kind of thing.”

WHAT?!?!

You claim we’re in an existential crisis.

You say the gloves are off.

You say democracy is hanging by a thread.

But when it’s time to throw the hardest punches can? You pull back. You back off. Suddenly, you aren’t willing to do whatever it takes to win.

And voters KNOW THIS.

You can’t keep pretending it’s the 1960s in a world full of Proud Boys, militias, armed Trump cultists, and fascists trying to overthrow elections with lies and violence. You want to be pure? Fine. But purity won’t protect you from a bullet. Morality doesn’t matter when the other side is laughing through the scope.

Republicans beat the left to death with decorum.

They weaponize it against us every time.

So let’s stop pretending. Let’s stop pretending there’s any mystery left. All the violence comes from the right. Fulls stop.

Every single time. And they don’t even hide it anymore. They don’t have to.

The truth is, we’ve been warning about this for years. And everything they say about us? Every fear they shout into a microphone? Every insult they throw?

Every Republican accusation is a confession.

Every. Single. One.

When trump cries about Biden’s failures, he’s crying about his own.

When the right calls the poor “lazy,” they’re confessing they don’t like work.

When they scream about voter fraud, they’re telling you how they plan to cheat.

When they accuse us of being violent, they’re masking the blood on their hands.

The only question left is: When will we stop pretending not to see it?

Because the longer we wait, the louder and closer the gunshots will get.
